New hydrometallurgical tests on Fenix pilot plant adopting UNIVAQ Patent, named Gold-REC2, were carried out. With the present process, gold and palladium can be recovered from waste of electrical and electronic equipment without any grinding. Different electronics components as connectors, ceramics and plastics cpu and ram can be treated with this process by using polypropylene bags housed inside the reactor. The following pictures show the initial and the leached material.
